Brazil cruised past Haiti 3-0 to eliminate them from the World Cup

Brazil turned on the style to brush Haiti aside and march into the knockout rounds. Matheus Cunha was the architect, scoring twice inside the first half to put the result beyond doubt before the break.

Cunha opened the scoring on 23 minutes and added his second on 36, the second created by Vinícius Júnior. Then, deep in first-half stoppage time, Vinícius got the goal his display deserved, finishing a Lucas Paquetá pass to make it 3-0 at the interval.

The second half was a procession. Haiti, eliminated by the result, could find no way back, while Brazil eased off knowing the job was done. Ancelotti's side march on, looking every bit the contenders.
